ADMISSIONS

Woodland prepares your student to achieve more than a certain test score. We focus on the fundamentals for future success. Our small, diverse community recognizes the importance of individualized learning. Beyond rigorous academics, Woodland’s teachers encourage preschool and elementary students to develop as self-confident leaders who aspire to achieve and value moral and socially responsible living.

Preschool

To prepare for kindergarten, your three and four-year-olds will learn letters and numbers, practice cooperation and sharing, and participate in Spanish, physical education, art, science, computers, and music offerings.

Lower School

Woodland emphasizes mathematics and language arts for full-day kindergarten through fourth grade students. Students also participate in daily offerings including Spanish, physical education, art, science, computers, and music.

Upper School

Our fifth through eighth grades prepare students for future success, granting more freedom and imparting more responsibility. Our Friday clubs let students explore other interests too.

Along with its affordable curriculum, Woodland also offers:

  • Early morning drop-off from 6:45 to 8:15 a.m.
  • Extended day care from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.
  • In-school lunch (additional fee)
  • Transportation services* (additional fee)

During your campus visit, you’re also sure to notice the ways in which our diverse, inclusive community fosters traditional values. Students will make eye contact with you, open doors for each other, and treat each other with courtesy and respect.
