Woodland Drama Club

The Woodland Drama Club has developed into a staple of the WCDS experience since its inception in 2003. We work diligently in the second semester of the school year to produce our Main Stage Musical in the spring. Past shows include Annie Jr., Into the Woods Jr., Aladdin Jr., and Schoolhouse Rock LIVE! Students interested in the technical aspect of theatre arts have more opportunities with each WDC season. We have enriched our sound and lighting equipment with appropriate acquisitions thus enabling our students to professionally outfit our productions. These improvements have heightened the overall experience, not only for our actors and “techies”, but ultimately for our ever expanding audiences. As with the music program, the growth of the program has been due, in large part, to the confidence and passion of our students.
