Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten Programs
Woodland’s preschool and pre-kindergarten programs strive to meet each student’s evolving needs. Promoting learning through projects and play enables children to develop life-long social skills. Our programs for two, three, and four-year-olds lay the foundation for a love of learning.
Children are encouraged to learn, play, and grow in a safe environment that is nurtured by an experienced, caring staff. The Preschool’s objectives are to:

At Woodland Country Day School, our pre-kindergarten program fosters cooperation, curiosity, and confidence in young learners. Designed for children in PreK-3 and PreK-4, our program builds a strong foundation in early childhood education by encouraging a love of learning, independence, and social-emotional growth in a warm, engaging, and supportive environment.
Our pre-kindergarten program runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and offers flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of families:
Three days per week: Tuesday–Thursday
Four days per week: Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday
Five days per week: Monday–Friday
Each school day includes a healthy morning snack, a community-style lunch with peer helpers, and a supervised afternoon nap, creating a balanced routine that supports both learning and well-being.
To support working families, Before Care and Extended Day programs are available for an additional fee, providing safe and reliable coverage beyond regular school hours.
