Woodland Country Day School's Strategic Plan: Building a Strong Future
Woodland Country Day School launched its strategic planning process in Fall 2024, marking a pivotal moment in the school’s history. Following years of challenges, including the COVID-19 crisis and leadership transitions, Woodland embraced a new era with a new Head of School and Board President in Spring 2024. Despite past obstacles, our dedicated faculty and administration remained committed to delivering exceptional education to every student.
Through a collaborative and forward-thinking approach, our strategic planning committee—comprising faculty, administration, alumni, parents, Trustees, and Advisory Board members—conducted a comprehensive evaluation of Woodland’s strengths, weaknesses, and future opportunities. As a result, five key strategic priorities were identified to guide our growth over the next three years:
The Woodland Product – Advancing curriculum and strengthening community
Marketing – Enhancing brand awareness and outreach
Technology – Expanding innovation in classrooms and operations
Facilities – Upgrading infrastructure to support student success
Finance – Strengthening financial sustainability and stewardship
With a tradition of excellence and a clear vision for the future, Woodland Country Day School is poised for growth. Our strategic plan ensures that we continue providing outstanding academic experiences while fostering a vibrant, engaged community.
